Friendly, central, simple accommodation with a great bar on the ground floor

Liked: Super-friendly staff and an excellent location. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Definitely bring a sleep mask as the emergency light that stays on when you turn out the main light is the brightest I’ve ever seen. And if you’re a light sleeper, bring your ear plugs too as the downside of the central location can be a bit of noise from people leaving bars on the street outside.

    Liked: Good location. Nice staff

Disliked: The meanest room I have ever stayed in. Terrible everything bed, bathroom, towels, not even a table lamp. Meanest coffee provision I have ever seen. Not even a teaspoon provided and dried up sugar in a jar. Ugly brown unironed duvet covers over a mean and thin duvet on a small and lumpy bed. Please don't go to this place. It is awful

    Nothing like the advertisement

Liked: The staff were very friendly and the location fantastic. Also the shower a really good shower

Disliked: I did not like that the rooms were nothing like the photos on line clearly AI. More like a hostel than a bar with rooms. There was no mirror in the room. So just aswell we didn’t need the room before going out as there wasn't even a plug that would reach over to the shower room to use the mirror in there. The stairs leading to the rooms could also do with a bit of a today up. No teaspoons either for the much needed first coffee/tea in the morning. For what we paid for the room we have stayed in much better places for around £80. I haven't actually seen a duvet so thin on bed.
