  Good accommodation, charming and homey. Very nice owner

  Liked: I only had a short stay. But the room was lovely, and the owner was wonderful. I didn’t feel great one day and she was very helpful, seeing if I needed anything.The location was pretty good, it was about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the train station in a short taxi ride. older style room in a house, well made up, with a fairly new style bathroom.

  Disliked: I wouldn’t say didn’t like, but there are definitely some stairs to the rooms! Just something to know.She did have someone bring my bags up, though.

  Great location and spacious, comfortable

  Liked: Out of all the places we stayed in Scotland and Ireland during our 17 day visit, Cavell House was the best. The location, a block from the beautiful River Ness and very close walking distance to town, is unbeatable. It's close enough to shops and restaurants to be convenient but far enough to feel peaceful and remote. The proprietress had everything we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had our luggage delivered while we took a side trip to the Isle of Skye between visiting Edinburgh and Inverness, and our heavy suitcases were brought upstairs to our room by the time we arrived.

  Disliked: Nothing, everything was fantastic!

  Had a lovely stay. Highly recommend!

  Liked: Our stay was very pleasant. Camilla is a lovely person and she made sure we had a nice stay. The property is centrally located yet very quiet. The whole place, as well as the room, was spotless and had some very nice touches (towels in a basket, hair conditioner, a dressing table, etc.). One of the nicest and cleanest places we stayed at!

  Quaint, clean and the most hospitable hostess

  Liked: Quaint, comfortable. Quiet area, a little traffic but the noise really wasn’t a bother or overly noticeable.

  Disliked: We walked to the location from the train station so the walk was a bit long for me personally if your dragging luggage, recommend a taxi, or walk along the River. To walk in for dinner or meet a tour group it was not bad.
