  Hidden gem, great rooms and lovely food

  Liked: What a find. Lovely pub with restaurant attached and rooms are well insulated from any noise.

  Liked: Dinner and breakfast were solid. The parking was convenient.

  Disliked: The room was up in the eves. It was tiny. I am 6 feet tall and felt I had to hunch to move around comfortably. The shower was open and the bathroom floor became covered in water and it was impossible to prevent.

  Nice hotel in a very convenient location

  Liked: Very good location, just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the restaurants, shops and castle. The hotel is small and independently run so you feel like a guest rather than just one of the crowd in a larger hotel. The room we had was very big and comfortable and I think we had been upgraded from the standard room we booked. Breakfast was very good with a choice of cooked breakfasts and my wife who is a vegan was well catered for.
