  Liked: The room was spacious and the bathroom clean with a lovely shower. The highlight was the food at dinner, which was absolutely delicious and inventive.

  Extremely disappointed, would not stay here again

  Liked: The linens on the bed were clean and the beds were comfortable.

  Disliked: The location was very noisy from road noise. Upon arrival it was very dark with no exterior lights to help guide you down to the cottages. The facilities need to be updated, old smelly carpets, stained furniture and lots of black mold on the inside of windows. Not to mention the property photos and descriptions online did not match the cottage we received, it was extremely misleading.

  A lovely, more elevated option in Inverness with phenomenal staff and delicious food

  Liked: Private, gorgeous views and the space is incredibly charming. The staff and food were absolutely wonderful - an easy 100/10 for both. Everyone was eager and kind when we requested help or had questions and they weren't just respectful but genuinely engaged in conversation. The grounds are quiet, relaxing and absolutely beautiful. While some items are certainly due for repair or replacement, we did not regret our decision to stay here and we would happily return!

  Disliked: Some things were rather worn down which diminished the feeling from some of the other more luxurious aspects of the room (examples: paint chipping, mysterious black gunk exploding out of a sink when we turned it on, turning the hot water on to shower required some forceful effort, tears in the wallpaper)

  Comfortable stay with good food. Shame about the shower

  Liked: The location of the hotel is fabulous. The staff were helpful and efficient and the food was a good standard.

  Disliked: There were two sinks in our room and one was blocked, (not a total disaster because the other sink was fine). Also, the shower temperature seemed to be stuck on very hot, making it impossible to stand directly underneath. This could be potentially dangerous so I reported it to the receptionist the following morning. She said other people had found the same thing but clearly, the fault remained.
