  Fine B&B for a short stay

  Liked: The breakfast was generally okay. I asked to have porridge which was granted, but very watery. It was quiet, but very small.

  Disliked: The location was farther from city center than I expected. The facility was fine, but the bathroom - though private - was across the hall. The entrance was with a key box and rather complex. We never saw the host. Only the breakfast server who was fine.

  Liked: Convenient walk to heart of Inverness. Nice aesthetic. Very secure.

  Disliked: Some creaking floorboards (when we weren’t moving) and other sounds through floor & walls that disrupted our sleep, reducing what would’ve otherwise been a good Comfort score. We also had submitted our breakfast order ahead of the deadline but the message wasn’t read, so we were surprised in the morning and had to eat offsite. Owner apologised for it profusely though.

  Very dissappointing

  Liked: The location for us was good.

  Disliked: Noisy pipes or noices in the walls. Very thin towels. No ensuite as advertised as bathroom across the corridor. No tissues, bad lighting.
