  Left feeling very dissatisfied

  Liked: Location fantastic as was the on street parking.

  Disliked: Room was cold and no heater. Transferred to another room which had a double and single. Looked as if the double had been slept in and room not serviced. Heater was jammed on full and had to open windows. Floor was dirty. Shared bathroom was dirty and I fortunately used the last toilet roll in the morning being first up. Shower had no door or curtain so water spilled onto the floor. I know it was cheap but surely there have to be minimum standards

  Do not stay at this hotel the hygiene is the worse I have ever seen. We left immediately

  Disliked: Where to start - do not stay at this hotel. There was vomit on our curtain, the curtain rail was also broken. The bed had a large intense yellow stain on it when we lifted the duvet cover. The pillow cases were also mysteriously stained. The bedroom heating was turned up full and the room was like a sauna. The room also had no bathroom, this was communal. We did not stay in the hotel we requested an immediate refund.

  Bed bugs found in the bathroom

  Liked: Location is excellent from the Scot rail and to the high street, Inverness castle that's about where the positives lie.

  Disliked: My major concern was the cleanliness and the fact my daughter killed a bed bug in the bathroom. Then the morning after there was another bed bug climbing the wall in the bathroom. I did report to booking.com that the hotel should sort that issue out. I took photos and a video as proof. The toilet was leaking so we constantly had a small puddle on the floor. The kettle dusty and tea cups stained. No lift in the building and more outdated than the pictures suggest. Was a weird smell as soon as entering, like cigarettes. I just brought a bottle of air freshener. The front door on one side the glass is broken still. I won't be coming back. I don't usually leave negative reviews but the hotel refused to cooperate with booking.com over the bed bug issue. I didn't ask for a refund or compensation. Just that the issue be fixed.

Please note reception is located on the first floor and some rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors and are only accessible by stairs.
