Don't search anymore. You found the gem!!!

Liked: We loved absolutely everything. Simon and Sara are by far the best hosts we've ever known. Simon was a very funny gentleman but serious when it comes to provide us with very good suggestions to better getting around Skye. Sara was the kindest lady, always smiling, with such a contagious positive energy, you can't help but smile around her! Their house was super cozy, pretty, clean, with a magnificent view (even raining!!). And the breakfast they made for us was super delicious, we could feel love on those plates!! If we return to Skye, which for sure will happen sooner or later (such a fantastic island with a lot to see), this will be my home again, because it was how we felt, at home!!

Disliked: We hated being there for just two nights!!!!!!:( It should have been two weeks!!!!! At least!!!!!!:(:(:(:(

Liked: We absolutely enjoyed our stay with Simon and Sarah. They were most welcomming. Sarah had baked delicious shortbread at our arrival. Simon and Sarah provided us with excellent tips on what to do, where to hike and where to eat. Breakfast was delicious, even when we had to leave early in the morning Sarah packed us a nice breakfast.

Great house to stay while visiting The Isle of Skye

Liked: Great hosts, beautiful place. Took a ton of pictures from the deck. House was modern and comfortable. There is nothing nearby so make sure you bring supplies. Its a great country house. The castle is 7 miles away in one direction, Talisker Distillery is 7 miles in the other direction.

    Disliked: Nothing honestly.

Perfect location for your Skye visit

Liked: Achalocan House is the perfect place to stay in Skye. The location is peaceful and a great home base to explore the isle. The apartment is immaculately clean, super stylish, and comfortable… so comfortable that it’s hard to get up in the morning and be motivated to tour Skye! You want to cozy up to a warm cup of coffee or tea and stay in. Our hosts Simón and Sara are one of the bests we’ve met. Their suggestions and recommendations are spot on, and made our stay more fun and made the best of our visit. They are authentically warm, helpful and enjoy doing what they do. We would love to return to Skye and if we do, then we’ll be back to the Achalochan House.
