  You will be WELL cared for and very comfortable at Balmoral Skye. Stay there!

  Liked: We did not pay the rate that included a breakfast but the host was very kind to provide a little something for us each morning so that we didn't have to make a special stop anywhere before our days of sightseeing. The room and bathroom had everything we needed and Janice even brought us a new hairdryer instantly when ours broke. She provides tons of reading materials and interesting things to browse in the common room of the B&B. It's quiet. Secluded. Safe. And an amazing experience that we would again.

  Disliked: This can't be helped and many B&B's on Skye probably have the same concern but the 4 mile drive on the one way road was a little tough after a long day of hiking. But that's the life of Skye and should be held against the property.

  Liked: The cottage and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. The host was very friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast was a surprise bonus.

  Disliked: It's quite a drive from Portree on one way roads. There are no facilities to self cater, so light breakfast provided was welcome.
