Good
Great place to stay
Liked: Safe, single female and family friendly. Offers washer and dryer, parking, tea/coffee.
Disliked: N/a
Liked: Nice staff, nice kitchen can do laundry
Disliked: Showers hot cold, just needs updating
Liked: Our room was big enough and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also helpful to help out. It was quiet as well
Disliked: The hostel is pretty humid and we also had some mold in our room.
Great location, clean hostel, friendly staff
Liked: Very friendly staff, super clean toilets and rooms
Disliked: The beds in dormitories could use a privacy courtain and a better way to designate bed allocations
Conveniently located hostel
Liked: Close to town, staff did make alternative arrangements when we found our room leaking. Friendly staff, plenty showers and hot water. Spacious comfy lounge area
Disliked: Our room had rain coming into the room through an old rotten attic style window. Room was really small for 4 people, no where to fit all our luggage. Staff did move two of our group to a double room because of the leak which was appreciated. We were worried about one bed getting wet during the night and power points on that wall possibly being dangerous. Some toilets didn't flush well and some sinks didn't drain well. Very expensive for a hostel with limited facilities, small kitchen and dining area and not enough cups etc. it was weird having a funeral home in the front of the building, probably was once all part of the hostel
It was my best stay in Scotland
Liked: Location, staff and clean bedding
Disliked: Nothing
