Exceptional
Perfect in every way
Liked: The accommodation is exceptionally clean, warm and very comfortable. The views are outstanding and our host (George) is the best
Amazing view and great host
Liked: George was great. He was always responsive and made sure we immediately felt at home. He waited on us when we arrived (later than initially planned) and made sure we got the full explanation of the place. George also provided us with food so we could make our own breakfast The view was amazing. From the room, you have an amazing view on the harbor and the surrounding area. The place is located in a quiet area. Perfect to relax after a day filled with activities. The place is easy to reach We had two beds, one double bed and a bunk bed. The bunk bed was surprisingly comfortable. The beds have a great mattress
Disliked: The shower was good, but the water pressure was not strong enough
Great location and great host!
Liked: George met us upon arrival and showed us how everything worked. He provided basic supplies but we did not partake of them as I am gluten free. Everything was as described. The location is very convenient and quiet. There is a small electric heater that warmed the place up quickly. Shower had great water pressure!

A lovely stay
Liked: George met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the property. He had stocked up with tea/ Coffee milk, some breakfast essentials including homemade jam and marmalade. The views from the property are incredible. A great location to explore the island from.
Liked: George was lovely and supplied us with milk, eggs, bread and lots of treats. The views are exceptional.
Disliked: I didn't sleep very well due to the small double, although there were bunk beds too. We chose to spend three nights, whereas accommodation more suited for a convenient stop-over.
Highly recommend… Would stay again
Liked: All the reviews from Booking.com were spot on. This is a wonderful place and excellent value for the cost. The view of the harbor and being able to watch the ferries go in and out was lovely. Seeing the sunset over the bay… When the sun was out… It was also beautiful. The kitchen facilities, the spaciousness and everything were just wonderful. George was great and left us eggs and homemade jam and bread and milk… Such a treat.
