A fantastic accessible apartment, and a superb restaurant to match

Liked: We booked the ground floor accessible apartment, and wow, what a place. They’ve thought of everything, from the dedicated parking bay right outside to the well-designed layout inside. It was exactly what we needed. There’s even a small garden with a canopy attached to the building, which is a real bonus when it rains. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could want, and the bathroom was a spacious wet room. We arrived about an hour early and were pleased we’d chanced it, as the room was ready and Chris kindly showed us the way.As if that weren’t enough, there’s a fabulous restaurant on site, The Sprigg, which opens at 16:30. We ate early to avoid the rush and get an early night. The menu was superb. We couldn’t resist the se a food, and the chowder was amazing. We were sad that this was only a one-night stop, with a 7am start to catch the ferry to Lewis. We’d love to come back and stay for a week. It’s such a lovely, friendly place.

    A high quality stay

Liked: The room we booked was an accessible one due to needing space for a cot and a dog. It was extremely well considered for someone with additional needs, the wet room was exceptional and the little garden area was excellent for those with a dog. The breakfast offerings were fantastic, very high quality ingredients. My family enjoyed French toast with compote, smoked salmon and eggs and some really excellent treacle and ginger muffins which my son absolutely adored. I really wish I'd booked for longer actually and we are already planning a return.

Disliked: Nothing, the stay was wonderful.
