Exceptional
Liked: The location was about as good as you could get.
Disliked: No breakfast provided. We knew that. 2 flights of stairs. We knew that. No heat in bathroom. We DID NOT know that. Had to use a door code to retrieve a key on a retractable tether to get into the room - very inconvenient. We DID NOT know that. Management did not reach out to us during or after a major power outage to the island to see how we fared Very unprofessional and they should be embarrassed. No management outreach at all actually.
Liked: Location is excellent as walking distance to restaurants in town. Providing extra large towels is a nice touch.
Disliked: Shower system and water pressure is poor. After a day of hiking, all you want is a no nonsense shower. Eco mode and full heat was the only was to get a warm shower. Everything else was either scolding hot or cold. No street parking is a challenge as well with limited street parking in town. Laminated info card in the property doesn’t match the check-in information via booking.com. Probably just needs updating.

A great place to stay in the middle of Portree
We stayed in this flat for three nights and the central location was perfect for is. We used the kitchen to make dinners
Liked: The location was perfect, and the flat was clear newly renovated. We loved the hot pot and the ability to cook our dinners.
Disliked: A bit more communication would have been very helpful, such as that there is very limited hot water, so two people should not plan to take a shower in the morning, or how to turn on/off the heater or towel warmer (which we hoped to use to help dry our clothes). We figured it out eventually, but it would have really helped.
Liked: Exactly as advertised! Great location and comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended!
