Very centrally located to all things around Skye, comfortable spacious home, peaceful

Liked: The home was extremely comfortable and clean. There are lovely details and beautiful renovations; thick towels, very comfortable large bed, ready coffee and treats, a washer/dryer, and lots of space. We also loved the local art on the walls, the fine woolen drapes and the lovely outside area in which you could see the grazing sheep nearby. The owner was also very responsive if needed. This home was close to Portree, Uig (Quiraing, Old Man of Storr & Fairy Glen) and Duirinish (Neist Point, various islands), etc.

    Disliked: We loved it!

    Surrounded by nature

Liked: We loved the splendid isolation in nature with all the rabbits and lambs and the sea eagles. The cottage was very comfortable with interesting art work.

Disliked: The rutted track was a little challenging for my small car.

    Very enjoyable, would return

Liked: Enough space for us and in a secluded location but still close to Portree and other places we wanted to visit.

Disliked: Sofa in the living room was hard to get comfy on. There was no microwave but knew this before travelling so brought things suitable for oven or hob.

Excellent. very spacious accomodation located in area that is drivable to each area of Skye

Liked: We loved the location of the property. It was on a working farm so it was great waking up to bleating sheep and lambs in the morning. Location central to each area of Skye to explore. Huge cottage. Would highly recommend

Disliked: This is constructive criticism and not being critical of accomodation. Pricing at top end but understand locality demands higher prices. 2 suggestions for top rating- 1. New comfortable lounge… current lounge looks good but so uncomfortable and seems old. After long day exploring and long walks, a good lounge is important. Dining table top not secured to base legs. 2. Staple basics eg 2 tea towels (1 provided) alfoil, glad wrap, tea bags (only 3provided) but stayed 6 nights. Olive oil was good to have. These items would assist if staying a few nights and needing to eat in…. Local eateries not close by.
