    Absolute gem

Liked: Martin was absolutely the loveliest, and staying at Roskhill House felt so comforting, like a home-away-from-home, but better! It absolutely made our time on Skye. You can tell the attention to detail is in every little thing, from the lighting and decor, to the tea and coffee selection, and the amazing breakfast where everything is homemade. The house is warm and inviting, very clean and comfortable, and I wish we could already return. Location is also great, away from the Portree madness, almost in the heart of the island.

The Roskhill house is the bed and breakfast against all others should be measured

Liked: There's a reason why Martin's (the host) breakfasts are award-winning. You get a spread of made-from-scratch baked goods, locally sourced jams and chesses, and creative vegetarian takes on things you know. What's more, you have a menu every morning with a selection of hot dishes Martin will make to order. Everything was delicious, and the attention to detail is outstanding. If you have the munchies, there's a stock of packaged snack items you can purchase.

Disliked: There's nothing bad you can say about Roskhill house. I'm serious.

Beautiful and cozy hotel with a delicious breakfast

Liked: Small and cozy hotel with a really attentive owner who looks after all you needs to make sure you have a comfortable stay. And the vegetarian breakfast was a real treat and I’m not even a vegetarian!
