Exceptional
Liked: Location, bathrooms, bedrooms, living and dining room - all top notch.
Disliked: It would be nice to be able to see the house number from the road, For travelers from the US aged 70+ a bit of extra instruction on operating the stove and door lock would be helpful
A property with lots of potential but a few niggling issues
Liked: Location met our needs but we arrived in slight drizzle so property name board was a little difficult to read on arrival. The property was appropriate to our needs and the laundry facilities worked well, much needed under the circumstances.
Disliked: Two of us based in the twin bedroom didn't appreciate being woken at about 4am with the smoke detector emanating single beeps consistent with a 'low battery' indicator. Just to be safe we checked property to see if this was a real problem but gladly it wasn't. However as alarm was out of reach so we couldn't disable system. Message was sent to owners via booking.com. The other observation is that we felt the lighting in the reception room needs attention. This was not a negative as far as we were concerned because neveer reall used it but future guests might be if staying more than a night.
Liked: The house is close to Portree center but quiet. It is perfectly equipped. We had everything we needed. Glad we chose it. We strongly recommend it.
Liked: The he house had everything we required Very up-to-date technology wise, comfortable and fully supplied. Everything we required for our stay.
Location, location, location and home was very well kept
Liked: The location was excellent. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. It was also nice to have a washing machine.
Disliked: The main bedroom (with the queen bed and attached bathroom) and the bedroom with the two twin beds - we had to careful and not hit our heads on the part of the ceiling that protruded out. I did hit my head once pretty hard. I am not very tall, so this is something that I would share with others so they don't do the same thing.

Disliked: Minor issue with en suit toilet cistern, and operation of hob temperamental
