Exceptional
Incredible stay in the heart of Skye
Liked: We already miss this place! The few days we spent at Skeabost Wood Cottage were incredibly relaxing. Surrounded by nature, peaceful and offering a wonderful view, yet still in a great location for exploring the area. In the evenings, you can unwind in front of the fireplace and feel completely at home. The cottage is exceptionally well-equipped, with everything you could need, and the quality of the furnishings is outstanding. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated, with so many thoughtful details that capture the true spirit of Scotland. The owner, Charles, was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, which made our stay even more special. We would absolutely love to return and can highly recommend Skeabost Wood Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and cosy getaway in Scotland!
Liked: The cottage is amazing! It is super well equiped with literally everything you need to spend few days in Skye. During the evening you can set up a fire, play board games, read books related to Skye. Furthermore, there are so many cute details placed all over the house related the MacLeods which is kind of nice especially when traveling to Skye. The house itself was warm, super clean and big enough for 4 persons! Thanks a lot!!

Liked: We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home, which is exceptionally comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and furnished to a very high standard. The house is extremely well equipped, warm, and welcoming, and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. We were particularly touched by all the thoughtful little details and the evident care that has gone into making the house such a special place. We were also deeply moved by the history of the house. You can genuinely feel that the owners have put their hearts and souls into it, and this gives the property a unique and very special atmosphere. We highly recommend this wonderful rental. Its location is also perfect, with access to numerous absolutely breathtaking hiking trails nearby. We would be delighted to return!

Liked: Clean, homey and comfortable. Interesting walk from cabin to old grave and hotel. Very complete kitchen. Bucolic views from the large windows
Disliked: Only one and a half baths and slightly funky shower arrangement.
Perfect family home in a picturesque area
Liked: The house was cosy, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location was perfect, very quiet but close to lots of sights and a large co-op. We were able to cook family meals easily, and I was able to wash and dry clothes while there. The view from the house was amazing. At one point, we had sheep wandering around the garden. The decor inside the house was really interesting, and the information pack was very informative. One of the best places we have stayed and would book again.
Disliked: Take some grippy socks as the stairs are a tad slippery.

Please note that the optional pod with the third bedroom is about 82 feet away from the main house, down a small path in our wood.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
