Exceptional
Liked: The cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything we could need. The location and nearby loch were absolutely stunning. There was no light pollution at all, and the night sky was breathtaking. My children got to see the Milky Way for the first time! The heat had been turned on for us so our arrival was cosy and finding the cottage was easy. Our host was so kind and quickly answered any questions we had. If we ever have the opportunity to return to this part of the country, we will 100% stay here again!
Liked: We loved the view, the beds were insanely comfortable, the home was so charming and cozy. I would absolutely stay again! Also loved the cows and sheep:) It was great to have one room and the bathroom on the ground floor, it made it easier for my elderly mom. Also loved that there was a bathroom on the second floor. It was so quiet, I got the best sleep I've had in years!
Liked: The place was adorable, beds were comfortable. The little touches like coffee, bread and razors were awesome. The location was great
The property was beautiful, quiet, and well equipped
Liked: The property was very well equipped with everything one would need for a stay away from home. The setting on a farm was beautiful and the home was very clean.
Disliked: The driveway to the road had several large potholes that could be troublesome for smaller vehicles.
Liked: The house is very well-equipped and clean. The atmosphere is very cozy, and it is lovingly furnished. The family photos give the house a genuine, personal feel, making you feel truly welcome. During our nine-day stay, it felt just like home! The view of Loch Snizort from the property is magnificent—and absolutely phenomenal at sunset.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the area outside the property is very untidy, so the driveway to "The Old Crofthouse" often gives a neglected impression. I understand that this is not the landlords' responsibility.
Large, wonderful accommodations with parking!
Liked: It was a bit far from Portree but we actually preferred that because Portree was so crowded. Loved the big house, kitchen and den with fireplace. Great views of the much, cows, sheep and rabbits!
