An amazing stay on Skye
Liked: Beautifully furnished and decorated with everything we needed. Good size bedrooms with plenty of room for couples travelling together. Safe and convenient parking and well located on the island.

It’s a good choice for a group planning to stay a few days, but could be a 10 with a few adjustments
Liked: It’s a huge, new, MODERN home on big, private lot with loads of private parking.The house is on the water where you can watch the ferries come and go. The entrance is ADA accessible and it’s a single story with large en-suite bathrooms for each room and plenty of hot water. It has a washer and dryer, although the dryer was difficult to use. It’s within easy walking distance of the ferry marina, with several places to eat nearby. There is a beautiful walking trail to a spectacular waterfall and swimming lagoon, as well the Fairy Glen trail a couple of miles up the road.
Disliked: The wifi was not working when we arrived and it was hard to get help sorting it out. The house is clean but needs a deeper cleaning of things like finger prints from windows. The beds are not King Size as advertised, both main beds are American Queen size and they are inexpensive and firm. The home is designed to trap heat in cold weather with lots of glass but that makes the temperature soar inside on sunny days. If you open windows to cool off, you will get midges so be careful at dawn and dusk. Finally, the kitchen basics like trash bags and paper towels were minimal and made purchasing more necessary for a stay over a day or two.
