Liked: The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is amazing and so are the cakes you can help yourself to. The owners couldn’t do enough for us and were so friendly. Will certainly be back
Lovely stay
Liked: Great stay at Allendale. Perfect location 5 minutes walk to town, good parking. Clean comfortable room, great WiFi, plenty of fresh milk for the tea and coffee machine. Fantastic breakfast and lovely hosts. Highly recommended, we will definitely try and stay here again if in the area.
Disliked: Nothing
Allerdale House and it's hosts exceeded my expectations and we will be back
Liked: The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Leigh and May were excellent hosts and even provided complimentary freshly baked cake each day - a donation to the mountain rescue could behave if you wanted. Leigh was very helpful and knowledgeable about good walks around the area and provided maps to borrow as well.
Disliked: There was nothing I would change
Liked: Excellent accommodation with a plentiful breakfast choice. Hosts went out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you are a walker they are very knowledgeable about the area and routes to take. Location is excellent 5 mins from the town centre.
Disliked: Nothing.
