Lovely hotel clean and friendly

Liked: Excellent location. Our breakfast was excellent! There was a large range of choices and all staff were so polite, pleasant and helpful. The gentleman on Sunday morning was very knowledgeable, we followed his recommendations and went on the boat trip followed by a few all up Catbells. A lovely day! It was so good that we were able to leave our car in the carpark until late afternoon.
Disliked: This was not the hotel’s fault. We were in Room 28 and on the Sunday morning a lady was making a complaint at reception before 8 am and this woke us up. Not a big issue though.
Great location but unlucky with room size and the size of the window
Liked: Great location- lovely staff.
Disliked: We paid extra for a room with a Mountain View and we had the tiniest window. I thought that the room size was pretty small too.
