Lovely hotel
Liked: Charming old hotel with staff that all smiled! Dinner was excellent on both nights we were there. Highly recommend!
Heritage hotel
Liked: Four nights at this hotel gave us the opportunity to meet a lot of staff. All very positive. As other guests have pointed out, the hotel is now rather old and, therefore, could do with some renovation but think what it would cost and the resulting uplift in prices!

Run down
Liked: Been here a few times no problems. NEVER again.
Five stars!
Liked: Fantastic hotel, clean and well furnished. The area was so quiet yet close to Keswick town centre. Only a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive, although the hill back is a good one! The room was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed including facilities to make a brew. The hosts were so friendly and very helpful with ideas of things to do. It was good value and the breakfast options were terrific. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!
Bank holiday weekend stay
Liked: Fabulous from start to finish! Very friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. Our room was on the first floor & overlooked staff accommodation & Latrigg Fell. It was very clean & had a lovely modern bathroom. Breakfast had lots of choices & the hot buffet was regularly topped up. Lovely location set in beautiful grounds. Lots of seating areas both inside & out. We will definitely return. Thank you to all the team who made our stay such an enjoyable one.
