Exceptional
Extremely welcoming and a thoroughly enjoyable stay
Liked: Gary's excellent knowledge and advice about what to visit and when, given our preferences. This helped us hugely in making the best use of the limited time we had in the Lake District. The breakfasts were awesome and set you up for the day - fresh fruit as well as a huge English breakfast.
Disliked: Could do with a clearer view when coming out of the car park. The road wasn't that busy. Not sure there is anything much that can be done for this.
Liked: It was close to the city centre..and not far to drive to go for the walks..ee
Disliked: Everything was fine
Liked: Staff were great, breakfast was good. We received good advice from Gary and Sue. The only gripe and it's a small one is that the room was a bit small. But we would definitely come back here again.
Lovely cosy B&B with top-notch hosts
Liked: Lovely stay. Location is handy for town and local walks, private parking very helpful. But the hosts Gary and Sue are the real highlight - a lovely couple, so friendly, and were full of great tips for walks. Fab breakfasts too. Thank you
Disliked: Room and bathroom quite small, but it didn’t bother us (just worth bearing in mind if you plan on bringing lots of luggage!)

Liked: Great breakfast, owners really helpful and welcoming, perfect location just out of town, parking on hand, room was clean and well presented. Everything we needed.
