Exceptional
Poets Corner is a wonderful place to stay when in Keswick. Ideally placed just a short walk into town, plenty space for
Liked: Great location, plenty of space for us, everything you could ask for.
Disliked: We stayed here for three nights and were very disappointed with the condition of the property. Throughout our stay, we repeatedly found large flies in the bathroom, living room and bedroom. There were more than ten in total, and new flies continued to appear even when we kept the windows and doors closed. We spent considerable time dealing with them instead of relaxing after long days of travelling. The buzzing of flies even disturbed our sleep. There were also cobwebs in several corners and around the ceiling lights, as well as a noticeable musty, damp smell throughout the property. The location was convenient, but the cleanliness and overall living conditions were well below our expectations. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing accommodations during our UK trip.

An excellent place to stay
Liked: It's even more spacious and attractive than it looks in the photos (and conveniently has two shower rooms/toilets), and manages to be within easy walking distance of the town centre while still having easy free parking (not a common thing in Keswick), in a very pleasant residential area. It's close to Fitz Park, too, and a bus stop for the Penrith bus for non-drivers. The big dining kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the place is nice and clean, and communication from Gill is helpful and friendly. It's also really good value for money by Keswick standards, particularly if several people are sharing the cost. I would certainly stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing to criticise about this accommodation - it's perfect.
Lovely flat which was huge once inside. Good room sizes & plenty of space for our granddaughter to explore
Liked: Excellent location, right next to a park which we had never noticed on previous visits to Keswick. Only 10 minute walk to the town centre
Disliked: Parking was a bit of a problem but managed to park fairly close by when we couldn’t park outside. I do feel sorry for the residents having to cope with that all the time.
Liked: Good kitchen.
