Exceptional
In a 3 week trip through northern England, this was my favorite plaace to stay
Liked: Stayed here for 4 nights as a solo traveler. Perfect location: outside of Keswick (bigger town than I want to stay in) but a short, beautiful walk to get there for meals and shopping. The hosts were so nice and so knowledgeable about local hikes and walks. They steered me right each day with deep details and history for any location I mentioned. Gourmet breakfasts, and even as a pretty shy person I enjoyed talking to other guests when they were there.
Disliked: Nothing.
You don’t get a better and more friendly Guest House and owners than this!

Beautiful English B&B
Liked: The B&B was fantastic, it was a classic English bed and breakfast, it just felt like you were staying at someone’s house. Caroline and Clive made breakfast every morning, and they were very accommodating. They have an amazing garden where you can have your brekkie outside. The room was fantastic, the bed and bedding were so comfortable, and the room was beautiful!! It was easy to get to by public transport.
Disliked: I didn’t actually manage to lock the room from the inside, so I think anyone would be able to get into the room. But it felt like a super safe place so I wasn’t worried abt it.
