Pleasant
Not as bad as the reviews say… I was a little surprised for the money
Liked: Was a good base for myself and two young children where we needed to be the next day. Kids liked the budgies outside in cage… Only used the room so can’t comment on kitchen/laundry facilities etc.
Disliked: Shower could have been cleaner if I had to pick a fault. 😕
Liked: I stayed in one of the garden rooms. It was very clean and cosy. I stayed for one night as a mini break to do some hiking, perfect location and good value for money.
Liked: Very clean and very quiet ensuite chalet with good heating.
Liked: Easy to check in and room was warm / kitchen well equipped
Disliked: Bathroom (especially shower) wasnt very clean and the lower bunk bed mattress needs to be changed - you can feel the springs through it and my back has been sore ever since
Great spot for a getaway at Loch Ness. Would stay here again!
Liked: Cute space! Convenient location to everything we wanted. Room was overall mostly comfortable. The staff was AMAZING! Helped us with laundry needs and was very kind and caring! Being a hostel and having the kitchen to use was a huge bonus.
Disliked: The bed was against the wall, so we had to switch sides. As married for >15 years that threw us off. Additionally the mattress seemed to be “sinking” in the middle.

Liked: Location
Disliked: The man in the reception wasn't nice, there was no hot water in the shower and the drain in the sink was clogged. The kitchen was supposed to be open from 6am, we were waiting for it and nobody came to unlock the door so we ate our breakfast on the floor in the room with no morning tea.
