  Fantastic location

  Liked: Brilliant location. Very helpful staff. Clean and tidy.

  Disliked: Only concern was from an elderly person, no handle to get in and out of bath

  Excellent stay just a few tweaks would make it outstanding

  Liked: Excellent location and dog friendly and facilities

  Disliked: Pool access is really limited only have 2 hours in which to use pool if staying for 1 night. Also given location would expect a breakfast hamper option or more than tea and coffee in property. Shame restaurant close by only allows dogs outside

  A great place to stay. Needs some attention in areas

  Liked: Great location. Enjoyed being on the Fort Augustus Abbey plot which is both peaceful and full of history. The cottage was comfortable and on the whole enjoyed staying there. It’s just a short walk into town and to the canal and loch. A very picturesque area. Despite the negatives I would probably stay again if in the area.

  Disliked: Creaky floors upstairs in both bedrooms were bad. You couldn’t move without next door hearing you walk around. Crockery and glassware were not all clean. I washed most things before using them. Could have done with a blind in the living room but this had clearly fallen down at some point and not replaced. Some areas looked liked they needed some attention. Lots of rules and you had to get rid of your rubbish & recycling at the end of your stay in bins located down the service lane in a coded door container!
