  Basic but good

  Liked: Basic but clean pod. Shower/toilet block was spacious and clean. The location was great withing the trees. Very tranquil. Worth the money. Staff were very accommodating and suggested a good walk to the nearby lake.

  Nice basic camping for a good price

  Liked: Very basic, yet comfortable accomodation. We were there a little late, so check-in and check-out was done as "contactless" - we didn't see the hosts. Everything was clear, the pods were clearly marked, plenty of room for the car to park. Showers and bathrooms where clean, water was nice and warm. Each pod is equipped with 4 matresses, so it gives you some options on how to lay them down.

  Disliked: Only two socekts in the pod and we used one for lamp and the other for heater, so it's hard to charge your electronics during the evening.

  Miserable. I won't ever go back and will never recommend it. Sorry

  Liked: Toilet and shower block was bright, clean and had good facilities

  Disliked: Advertised as being on Great Glen Way but actually an additional 1.5 miles way each way to/from the Way to campsite. Reception not open until pm. Pod was extremely basic with only 4 child sized mattresses all of which were damp. Mattress protector were cleanly not wahsed between customers and mine was blood stained. Bedding was an extra £15. Bedding was clean but old and towel was small and thin. Only other facilities in pod was a double socket of which one socket was required for single light. There was an outside sink and a kettle but no other cooking facilities. No fridge.

When arriving by car, please follow the below directions and please do not use Sat Nav: From Inverness follow the A82 road towards Fort William. After approximately 9 miles, turn right at the sign marked "Abriachan". Follow the road up a steep hill for 1 mile. The road then levels out for a further half a mile.

Turn right up the track at the sign marked "Camping Pod Heaven". If you are following the A82 from Fort William, through Drumnadrochit, after approximately 6 miles, pass Abriachan Nursery and Gardens on the left, and the sign marked "Abriachan". Then turn right into a turning circle, up a steep road and follow the instructions as above.

Camping Pod Heaven offers simple, back to basics camping pod accommodation in a peaceful woodland setting in the Scottish Highlands, close to Loch Ness.

Located in the quiet village of Abriachan, approximately 12 miles from Inverness, our site is ideal for guests looking for a budget friendly, outdoor stay with a roof over their heads — not luxury accommodation.

The Camping Pods

Our camping pods are basic wooden pods designed for sleeping and shelter. Each pod has:

• Heating

• Lighting

• A private entrance

• Free Wi Fi (signal dependent due to rural location)

Pods do not include bedding, linen, towels, cooking facilities, or furniture.

Guests must bring everything they need for camping, including sleeping bags or bedding, pillows, cooking equipment, and personal items.

Camping Pod Heaven is nestled in woodland on the hillside above Loch Ness, offering a quiet, natural environment surrounded by trees and Highland scenery.

The site is a short drive (approximately 5 minutes) from Loch Ness, where guests can enjoy boat trips, sightseeing, and outdoor activities. Inverness, with shops, restaurants and transport links, is around 20 minutes’ drive away.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
