A well needed break from the world to reset

Liked: Loved the hole weekend. So peaceful.

Disliked: The only suggestion is, maybe have something the block the wind and rain. When in the hot tub. In bad weather.

Don’t miss this place on your trip through the Highlands

Liked: Excellent location and facilities, particularly the hot tub, very quiet and secluded so, it’s just what you need for a relaxing break, particularly the hot tub. It’s easy to find and, although it’s located close to a road it’s a very quiet rural road with minimal traffic. The hot tub was our favourite. We only booked two nights, which was not long enough but, as we are local from Inverness, we will be back again……….did I mention the hot tub 😁

Disliked: Only a very small observation. As we were there late October, the natural light fades mid afternoon and it starts to darken a bit, the living area has a standing lamp and two wall mounted lamps above the cooker/sink etc, I think the bulbs are warm glow type of bulb………..by about 5pm it’s quite dark (not pitch black) even with the 3 lamps on, which is great for settling down in the evening but, when cooking late afternoon/early evening it was a bit dark……it could definitely do with a more powerful ceiling light or, a couple of more brighter lamps…..nothing else to fault though.

    Stunning bespoke cabin

Liked: The view, the coziness of the cabin and the thoughtful little extras such as fresh home-made bread, eggs, butter and milk.

Disliked: There is nothing we didn’t like as it’s truly amazing. However with having a pet, a suggestion would be to have a little gate on your section of the cabin, as it’s all well fenced & private but it would be ideal to make it a bit more pet-friendly.

Liked: Really comfortable cabin set in a beautiful location. Warm and cosy accommodation, especially with the rain and wind expected in the Scottish highlands. Fresh produce on arrival, excellent especially the home made bread

Disliked: The hot tub was not so hot the second night although, not so cold we needed to ask for assistance. A gate would have been preferable for us as we had our dog with us.
