  Disliked: Upon arrival, we were met by an unpleasant young man. We had an apartment on the third floor, and he could see that, given our age, we would struggle to climb the stairs. When we asked if someone could help us with our luggage, he said there was no one available to do so and walked away. Fortunately, other guests helped us.

  Awful, stressful and exhausting

  Liked: It was clean

  Disliked: It was not on the ground floor and not like the pictures presented at all. What more it was up 7 flights of stairs - very difficult for two disabled people.

  Everything you need on site and locally for a great stay

  Liked: Location is fabulous. Overlooking Loch Ness with cruises on the doorstep. A few steps from a small town with shops and restaurants.

  Disliked: One niggle is you have to remove all your own rubbish/bins. Surely for the price you pay to stay this could be included.

  Liked: Cleanliness, the facilities were so great so many games to use. The quietiness of the apt and building. Also the age of the building was beautiful. We wanted to stay in a castle but this was even better I believe.

  Good time in an impressive historic monastery building

  Liked: The location close to Loch Ness and Fort Augustus canal locks, the impressive historic monastery building, the spacious and clean apartments with classic Scottish interior.

  Disliked: Huge complex with long and short term guests, rather anonymous, very expensive, small bedrooms, booking required to use pool, tiny sauna (was cold and by the time it was warm, our time was up).

Please note that the property is located in a building with no elevator.

Arrival is between 16:00 PM and 20:00 PM. Arrival after this time is by prior arrangement and will be subject to a charge on arrival (after 20:00 PM - 23:30 PM).

The swimming pool is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, January 1st & 2nd.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

A deposit may be required at the property.
