  Liked: Staff were lovely, food was really quite excellent, location was beautiful (amazing view and a short walk into the little nearby town)

  Disliked: Unfortunately there was a humming type noise that went on and off all night. A constant noise would almost be better than going on and off every few minutes!

  A real Scottish experience

  Liked: A beautiful hotel in a great location—within easy walking distance of both the town and the lakeshore. We arrived in the evening and were offered dinner; it was delicious, though the prices were typical for a restaurant. Our family room (for four) included a walk-through room, which was presumably intended for the parents—something that wasn’t clear from the photos on the hotel’s website. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, largely thanks to the fantastic location.

  Excellent, we would go again

  Liked: Breakfast is a nice choice, the room was very nice with an excellent view. The manager was a very efficient and friendly man, who made us very welcome.
