Pleasant
Did the job and in a perfect location
Liked: Hotel was very comfortable although very dated which added to it's charm. Lighting was poor in the rooms to the back of the hotel.
Disliked: Better seating at the dressing table and more plugs.
Location worked well
Liked: Location and the availability of a fantastic local pub and restaurant called the Fiddlers great malt whiskey bar
Disliked: Needs some refurbishing
Liked: Very good breakfast. The lodge had a very nice, cozy and rustic feel. Beds were comfy and nighttime was quiet. Located in a quaint town with very friendly people. Good restaurants within short walking distance and a grocery about a mile away.

Liked: Big car park. Staff at reception were lovely
Disliked: Didn't like this hotel. Room was filthy. Hotel is clearly very old and in dire need of refurbishment. It was grubby, dark and mould on curtains & windows. I would recommend finding somewhere else to stay.
Liked: Good breakfast.
Disliked: Very small room and bathroom. No lift, available, very steep and narrow stairs.
