  Wonderful self catering bolt hole

  Liked: Extremely well appointed, good facilities and WiFi streaming. All the rooms decorated with interesting artwork. And the real fire was a real bonus. Owner was on hand to ensure our arrival was smooth and had provided a very useful welcome pack of milk freshly baked bread

  Disliked: A little anxiety about finding the location but the owner was very good in keeping me on track. Just an anxiety, not a complaint. Everything else was perfect for a self catering bolt hole

  Great cottage in a quiet location

  Liked: Great location, very clean and comfortable. Really peaceful and nice outside space. Andrew and Amanda left us some lovely goodies which we enjoyed very much. We would definitely stay there again.

  Liked: Our stay at this cottage was an absolute dream! The place is incredibly lovely, cozy, and the attention to each and every detail is truly outstanding. We felt at home immediately, especially after finding that the hosts had thoughtfully left us some sweets, along with a wonderful welcome package of a fresh loaf of bread, jam, butter, and milk. Andrew was fantastic. Lovely, always quick to respond, yet completely respectful of our privacy. The cottage itself has absolutely everything you could need. The kitchen is perfectly equipped to cook and clean, and we loved throwing on the comfy robes to relax. They even provided a brilliantly detailed guidebook that explained everything from the chimney and recycling to local restaurant recommendations. We spent our downtime enjoying their huge, varied collection of books and films. When we wanted to explore, we were amazed to find they had provided maps, bags, umbrellas, and even binoculars, which were perfect for the nearby birdwatching spot! The natural environment surrounding the cottage is beautiful and very easy to access, including a stunning hike right in the area. We had a lovely time and it was an all-around great experience. It was truly wonderful, and we hope to have the chance to come back!

  Disliked: The only negative part was that we couldn't stay longer! We were so sad to leave and wished we had booked a few more days to enjoy this beautiful place

  Most enjoyable and relaxing

  Liked: Nice place to stay in the area where I have have spent holidays and short breaks before - even better this time due to its location being walking distance from the nine - hole golf course and forest walks. Will certainly plan another stay at the property next time I visit or holiday in the area.
