Exceptional
Liked: Everything was just perfect. We had Swiss visitors who wanted to see Nessie so this wad the perfect location for a sail on Loch Ness. The property was exceptional, high standards throughout. We were all very impressed.
Photos don't do it justice – our second fantastic stay!
Liked: We have just returned home today from our second stay at this wonderful holiday cottage, and it was the perfect family getaway. Having previously visited with friends, my husband and I knew it would make an ideal base for a trip with our two young teenagers and our dogs—and it certainly didn't disappoint. The photos online truly do not do this property justice. Everything throughout the house is finished to an incredibly high standard, from the premium bedding and plush towels to the quality soaps and fixtures. The house is naturally very warm, but the wood-burning stove in the living room—complete with supplied firewood—was perfect for a cosy evening in after a day of exploring. As someone who stays in quite a few holiday cottages, I was blown away by the kitchen. It is arguably the best-equipped kitchen I have ever come across, with a fantastic range of pots, pans, and utensils. The location is absolutely ideal. It is just a short drive into Inverness, and arranging taxis is incredibly easy. It is also a fantastic base for exploring further afield; we took a day trip to Glen Affric and were treated to absolutely stunning scenery. Even closer to home, the Jacobite cruises are right on the doorstep, which was a lovely trip to do with the kids. We also had a delicious breakfast at An Talla on our final morning. It is fantastic that the cottage, restaurant, and cruises are all run by the same company, as the high quality is consistent across everything they do. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Liked: The cottage was beautiful. Very comfortable and high quality furnishings throughout and high attention to detail.
Disliked: Nothing. It was homely with good mix of interior design throughout, information readily available and excellent location for touring, hiking and relaxing. Adjacent to the Loch and access to cafe / restaurant if needed. Parking safe and easy.
The best place to stay if you are in Inverness. I will definitely be back!!!
Liked: One of the best stay’s I’ve had the pleasure to stay at. Looks exactly like the pictures. It’s very evident that the cottage was so tastefully made up. High-end fittings and sheets. Guest instructions were clear and everything was set up perfectly. They left a small welcome snack tray and note which was so cute. Check-in instructions were crystal clear. We were sad to leave after our stay!
