  Amazing place to stay! Highly recommend!

  Liked: It was cozy, clean, and welcoming. The shower was great, one of the best showers I’ve had in the UK! We really loved everything about this place. They’ve really thought of every detail you might need on your stay. We met Teresa who is such a lovely host who greeted us with a welcome basket of fresh baked bread, eggs, milk, and goodies for a nice breakfast. Teresa offered us a little garage to keep our motorcycle out of the rain, which was so amazing! This really stood out as our best stay on our motorcycle trip of the UK!

  Hidden gem

  Liked: Apartment, location and welcome pack - everything was perfect. Would recommend to everyone, Teresa even managed us early access. Fresh eggs and home baking was lovely. Will be booking again later in the year if any availability.

  Lovely and relaxing stay at Ridgewood Apartment

  Liked: I would highly recommend Ridgewood Apartment, it was clean and tidy and in a lovely location. Our host was super friendly and very accommodating. We where greeted with a lovely basket full of fresh eggs, bread ect... The apartment was very clean and felt very homely. There is a nice pub down the road for food and in a good location for walks to Falls of Divach and other woodland walks.

  Five Star Luxury with Cosy Comfort

  Liked: Every detail was considered and there were so many small thoughtful touches. Great communication from the start and the welcome basket showed outstanding hospitality. The decor was tasteful and cozy. It was as though the whole accommodation and amenities were designed by a five-star luxury hotel, but without pretention. Loved the outdoor spaces. The location was fantastic for accessing Loch Ness attractions, Inverness, Culloden, and even Nairn. While the apartment feels private and secluded, restaurants and shops are a 20 minute walk away (just a few minutes in the car).

  Disliked: We only stayed one night. I wish it had been more.

Good to know

Directions: Driving from Inverness, follow signs for Fort William and Drumnadrochit on the A82. A 14 mile drive will bring you to Drumnadrochit. Continue through the village passing two sets of traffic lights, after the 2nd traffic lights turn right onto Balmacaan Road, and continue to the top of the road. The road then forks to the right onto single track, take this road and continue past the farm (on the right) for 33 feet and then take the next right at the wooden gates. Ridgewood Apartment is on your left.

Driving from Fort William, follow the A82 until you see the sign for Drumnadrochit. Go past Borlum Horse Riding Farm and Urquhart Castle. 5 minutes from the castle you will go over a small bridge continue on the A82 until you see a set of traffic lights. Turn left just before the traffic lights and onto Balmacaan Road, and continue to the top of the road. The road then forks to the right onto single track, take this road and continue past the farm (on the right) for 33 feet and then take the next right at the wooden gates. Ridgewood Apartment is on your left.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
