  Lovely hotel in busy central Manchester offering a comfortable stay

  Liked: Great design, good bar menu, comfortable room. Good cooked breakfast options -- far better than buffet. Great bar menu and service. Comfy seating by the fire in the lobby.

  Disliked: Expensive valet parking as the only option. Disappointed by the minimalist breakfast buffet which had run out of milk, jam, pastries, etc on more than one morning. No self-service coffee and slow delivery on ordered coffees.

  Liked: It is extremely well situated in the centre, it is really life enhancing as you feel away from it all and part of the beautiful world they have created with design & aesthetic choices - the fact that my room & bathroom is beautifully designed matters to me - Also, I wanted lots more peppermint tea and everyone got that for me in seconds - I also needed some scissors & sellotape to wrap up my sons present and this was deeply appreciated the front desk team could not have been more helpful.

  Disliked: I liked nearly everything but a small note would be when I called to order room service - I was told it would take 50 mins which is too long when you are busy -so i went to the Pollen Bakery instead which is very good - I did order a coffee at the hotel which came quickly and was nice & hot but not really good coffee. Eg Not at the right level for the hotel. The cocktails we had in the bar to celebrate my son were at the highest level
