Exceptional
Best B&B ever!
Liked: Anne went above and beyond, even taking me to the Emergency Room (A&E) at the large and friendly teaching hospital to get prescribed medication I had left behind in the United States. Norwich born and bred, she was an excellent source of the best places to go and how to get there. Everything is 15-20 minutes away on foot. Parking is free and I did not want or need to use my rental. Anne is a licensed nutritionist and anyone on a special diet will know they are in good and safe hands!
Disliked: Next door neighbor plays her tv late at night to get to sleep, not loud but audible. Be sure to ask Anne to text her to keep it down or turn off! They are on friendly terms, so shouldn't be a problem.
Liked: Location
Disliked: Breakfast, no tv, noisy to sleep
Comfy stay in Norwich
Liked: Clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent breakfast. Very welcoming host.
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Norwich! The house is located in a beautiful, charming neighbourhood full of traditional English houses, yet within easy walking distance of the city centre. Both my room (the Africa room) and the entire house were absolutely gorgeous, full of character and personal touches that reflect Anne's fascinating life, travels and experiences. Everything was spotlessly clean. But what makes this place truly special is Anne herself. She is such a wonderful, warm and interesting person that my only regret is having stayed for just one short night. Even the little time we spent chatting was enough to make me wish we could have talked for hours! Anne goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and cared for. When I didn't have enough time for breakfast, she packed me an incredibly generous selection of food for the journey, thoughtfully choosing everything to suit my tastes and even lending me her own containers. And then she drove me to the train station! An unforgettable stay, thanks to an exceptional host. I would return in a heartbeat!
Great for a short stay
Liked: Anne was a wonderfully welcoming host. The location was very peaceful.
Disliked: The house was a half hour's walk from the station, but we knew that in advance and chose it anyway.
Liked: Superb location withn minutes of the city centre witb street parking. Anne was welcoming, attentive and very helpful throughout my stay and provided a delicious, generous breakfast. Would highly recommend, especially for single women wanting to visit Norwich.
