  A very good apartment in an interesting part of town

  Liked: Location is brilliant. Very spacious, with adequate furnishings. All cooking requirements were there. Bathroom was a good size. Windows were openable.

  Disliked: Not my choice of decor - far too much black. Bed was average I think - bit creaky and maybe mattress was old?

  Liked: The location is superb, the apartment is spacious, and all the necessary kitchenware was available.

  Disliked: The apartment was not adequately cleaned before my arrival. Within two days, I developed a significant dust allergy, mainly while using the living room. I had to clean the room and wash the sofa cover myself. No laundry detergent was provided, so I had to purchase it on my first day in order to clean the property. There was also a large spider web across the kitchen window, which further raised concerns about the standard of cleaning. There was a security problem with the building’s main entrance: after being unlocked with the key on Saturday, the door could not be locked again. I reported the issue, but it remained unresolved for four nights. The apartment was also very noisy because of footsteps from the unit above and poor sound insulation between floors. Before my stay, I specifically requested a quiet upper-floor apartment and asked whether Flat 7 was on the top floor. I was moved there without being informed that another apartment was directly above it. Had I known this, I would not have rented the unit.

  Liked: Location was fine. Parking was a bit of an issue, however, and quite expensive but I do not fault the host for this

  Disliked: This particular apartment - I noticed there were others upstairs - was on ground level, and the only window that could open faced a public passage where people walked right by what was the bedroom. I really needed to air out the flat after a late arrival, but having a window open, where someone could very easily climb in, possibly while I was asleep, was unsettling.

  well located lovely flat

  Liked: This is a fantastic little city flat for those who like premium finishings and a convenient location. I enjoyed the comfy bed and the mod cons such as the dishwasher. Also there is a lovely shower. The host was very helpful also.

  Disliked: The only thing I would say is that there can be a lot of walking noise from upstairs. The flat could benefit from some kind of foam flooring.
