  Perfect stay

  Liked: My parents loved their stay at the hotel. Wonderful views. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Wonderful breakfast which great choice. It was for my mum birthday and they had swans made out of towels and a birthday card it was a lovely addition to their stay

  Very good views

  Liked: I like the fact on the first day we didn’t a complain about few details about our room and the next day we had a new room and after that everything was perfect

  Nice, but the rooms are dated and need attention

  Liked: Great property and style.

  Disliked: I was unable to control the water temperature in the shower and it’s stuck on cold, plus I had no hot water from the hot tap in the washbasin.

  Time for a renovation

  Liked: Easy parking. Lovely staff on check-in. Lovely lobby area with bar and restaurant.

  Disliked: Our room felt so old. Relative to other hotels for the same price, the room was small, the bed only a double with a little timber wardrobe in the corner.

  It was ok but I would look for somewhere offering better value for money next time in Portsmouth

  Liked: Lovely foyer, very clean, welcoming staff.

  Disliked: Very expensive for a twin room for one nights stay. Expensive bar prices. Rooms dated and didnt reflect the price being charged
