  Pleasant host but disappointing faciities

Liked: The proprietor was friendly & helped us by taking our luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. Both beds were comfortable. Our rooms were clean, also bathrooms.

Disliked: No lift available as it was a listed building. There was no lounge area available to sit in & our rooms were quite small. Didn't realise that breakfast was available, not mentioned on the website or easily visible! Had to park several streets away. Would have appreciated some shower gel or soap in the bathrooms. Quite expensive.

  Just ok

Liked: Location excellent and a lovely welcome from the owner.

Disliked: Sadly awake at 5am by seagulls having a scrap outside our bedroom window! Suggest ear plugs also for other residents getting early as thin walls. Poor value for money tbh.
