  Most enjoyable. I will definitely return

  Liked: The location, the sea views and the breakfast! All the team members were friendly, polite and welcoming.

  Disliked: I was surprised that my room wasn’t serviced at all during my four night stay.

  Lovely stay apart from the waiting time on breakfast

  Liked: The room was absolutely stunning very spacious very welcoming beautiful and clean great location

  Disliked: Didn’t like how us as guests at the hotel was served last on breakfast in the morning sat waiting 50 minutes after ordering when customers walking in off the street was served their food immediately that was the main let down Towels in the bathroom need up grading

  Great location! Friendly place

  Liked: Location is perfect, breakfast was included which was delicious too. The owner lady is super friendly and staff were helpful. Its a nice venue to eat and drink if not staying the night but we did both. We had a lovely time!

  Disliked: Everything was clean and nice, the only thing i would suggest was the duvet cover and towels could be newer, they were a bit bobbly and worn thats all. Check in window was small, it worked for us but an hour window doesn't seem a lot. 😁

  Avoid at all cost

  Liked: Beautiful outside building Great location

  Disliked: We stayed at Ivy by the Sea. Opposite the harbour £100 a night. Charged £20 for arriving early although they said the room was ready. I will post the pictures of the room we paid £100 a night for. We couldn't have breakfast as paying guests have to wait until 10am for breakfast where people walking down the street and entering can eat at 9am There are no staff there between 5pm and 9am This is not a hotel it is a hostel. The staff all look like teenagers and the owner is extremely rude and has zero customer service skills. The £20 HAD TO be paid in cash. You decide what that means The only thing I would recommend about where we stayed is to avoid the place. Dont waste your money. I did complain. The owner went upto the room and wiped a surface down with spray cl3aner that she then left in the room. There was no bin in a bathroom for 2 ladies.

  Excellent location but no heating on a cold night

  Liked: Breakfast was average but reasonably priced.

  Disliked: It was probably the first cold weekend and my room had electric radiators but they were NOT switched on it was very cold and I had to sleep almost fully clothed, it was an unpleasant night. The other point, I think dangerous. I was put on the top floor two sets of stairs (I am 89 years) but that was ok, however when climbing the top flight, the bottom lights go out and the top stair light's don't come on, so you have to take two steps in the dark Dangerous in my opinion. My room was number 1. Location was very good and the staff were very helpful.
