    Nice place but over priced

Liked: We booked Mansion House for a short Seaside getaway. It was in a good position in a quiet area with easy street parking. It had a sea view, which was nice to look at. All the staff we met were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of options, all freshly prepared. It was nice and quiet at night. The room was clean and the towels were nice and fluffy. The complimentary items, such as water and biscuits, were good.

Disliked: We felt it was over priced for what it was. Our room was very small and felt cramped and, although you could see the sea, as the window didn't open, you couldn't hear it, or get any fresh air. The decor was somewhat dated and the TV was small. We felt it was a nice B&B charging luxury hotel prices. On that basis we wouldn't book again.

We love this hotel and will use it every time we visit Scarborough, well, maybe

Liked: Greeting was exactly what we expected. Room was ready early and perfect. View, well the view is just amazing.

Disliked: Allocated seating at breakfast was silly, nobody told us so we sat where we liked and we will again. Lose the allocation, nobody else does it for good reason, its daft.

Liked: The staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. Location is excellent, plenty of parking on the road.

Disliked: The single room was tiny and on the top floor, overpriced for the size of it. If I stayed again I wouldn't want to be any higher than the first floor especially as breakfast is on the lower ground floor.
