  I would pay not to live here

  Liked: The staff were friendly and honest, and tried to sort out things the best possible way. I didn't find the beds comfortable, but my son had a good sleep.

  Disliked: There was no heating,nor hot water for the first day (and for the second day the water temperatures kept fluctuating rapidly between boiling and freezing). The drain was clogged and the water was not going out of the bathtub. Poor cleanliness; there were hairs all over the place. There were spots on towels and bedding, although they changed the towels. The building and rooms were old and required a complete overhaul. The toilet paper was used, and the toilets and shower were quite cramped.

  Liked: The location is good and very central. The facilities are more than adequate for the price paid.

  Disliked: There was a lack of hot water for a short period one morning, likely due to numerous guests using it at the same time.

  Last minute getaway - very disappointing

  Liked: Bar prices reasonable

  Disliked: Room was awful - no outlook, drone from motors all night - unable to sleep. Location was poor - lift broken to the promenade so had to use the very steep ramp with a power chair which was unsuitable Unable to get first 3 choices of drink, pinot, sauvignon blanc, prosecco. Standard drinks in any bar. Small claustrophobic lift Room not clean (cobwebs in the bedroom, black mould in the soap dish,) Only stayed 1 night so didn't raise any concerns, just moved out early the next morning. However booking.com asked for a review as I I feel obliged to give an honest one. Only gave a negative review so others are aware - £100 per night without breakfast was expensive for the quality received.
