    Quirky and fun stay!

Liked: Quirky with lots of space. Great for a couple of days away with everything you could need. Whilst the weather wasn't great, the rooms were spacious and worth staying in just for the history.

Disliked: The bathroom was a little dated and the shower quite poor for the cost of the stay.

    A short visit

Liked: The quirky setting gave the property character, and the off-road parking was a bonus, even though the space was a little tight. The host did make an effort to resolve the issues we encountered during our stay, which we appreciated.

Disliked: Unfortunately, several issues detracted from our overall experience. Water was leaking through the living room window, and the Wi-Fi was unavailable for two days. There was also a power cut on the Friday, whilst outwith their control, communication from the host regarding the situation was lacking. We also found the mattress and pillows uncomfortable, which affected the quality of our sleep. We also had not realised there was accommodation directly above us, and were woken at around 7am on Saturday by the noise of someone running back and forth overhead. We felt the amenities were fairly basic and the accommodation did not offer good value for money. Although the host did make efforts to address the issues we raised, these combined problems unfortunately impacted our enjoyment of the stay.
