  Beautiful place and staff

  Liked: I loved the staff, they were absolutely impeccable and made us feel like royalty. It was also such a peaceful place. The grounds were very beautiful to relax in.

  Disliked: There was a guest who tutted when we went to dinner as I had to wear trainers. That was because I'd recently had intervention on my Achilles tendon which recently ruptured and I am still struggling to walk on anything but trainers or slippers for comfort and safe grip. The gentleman in question tried to make us feel bad. Some clients at these wonderful places get overly entitled and it's very upsetting.

  We enjoyed our 1 night stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be returning!

  Liked: Beautiful hotel which has been upgraded to a high standard. Fabulous location which is very tranquil and relaxing. Perfect for our visit to attend a concert in Scarborough only a few miles away.

  Disliked: Loved it all but we would have liked some bottled water in the bedroom. Also to note there isn’t a lift which would have been an issue for us prior to my husband having his knee replacement with our bedroom being on the 2nd floor.

  A disappointing two night stay

  Liked: The Breakfast needs revising and updating. There is little if you do not take the full cooked breakfast other than boxed cereals and toast. We asked if we could have porridge and this was declared “not possible “ These days all menus should include healthy options
