Exceptional
Everything you could want or need and then a wee bit more
Liked: Loved everything about my stay in Stuart’s property. Spotless, cosy rooms. Best nights sleep ever! Perfect location for accessing town centre and transport links The breakfast room - which I was offered to use if I needed a more formal place to set up laptop etc- was a gem of space with authentic Scottish feel as were the discreet fabric touches throughout. Wished I could I have sat and enjoyed breakfast but as I was rushed Stuart packed mine to go with great care and I was hugely grateful for it later ❤️
Disliked: Nothing at all - a dream of a spot
Very welcoming and cozy place. Perfect
Liked: Attention to details, very good linens and towels, room in a very good size, wonderful bed, warm reception. Stuart made us fell at home.
Disliked: Could have an heater in the bathroom
A real outstanding accommodation
Liked: The accommodation itself was a pleasant walk away from the city centre. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and well equipped — more than enough for a few days’ stay. The bed was comfortable, with lovely-smelling fresh bed linen. I particularly liked the little tea station provided separately. Stuart is a truly attentive and warm-hearted host who was always ready to help us with anything we needed — with genuine hospitality which is so rare these days! The breakfast, personally prepared by Stuart, was absolutely delicious and generous, made with locally sourced ingredients. We loved the idea of the breakfast request card, which guests filled in to help avoid food waste. All for a good cause. Cheers!
We enjoyed our short time at Ravenswood guest House and if down that way again will certainly book
Liked: The location was ideal for us as we didn't have far to travel from the Guest House to the two locations we were planning to visit. Stuart met us when we arrived and was very helpful and chatty which gave us confidence that we had chosen the right place to stay. He went on to inform us about the property and showed us to our room which was spotless. We are very clean people and we have to say the accommodation certainly met our standards. After a large meal the night before I was unable to eat all the wonderful Scottish breakfast that Stuart had dished up but it certainly was a breakfast to set you up for the day.
Disliked: Excellent accommodation certainly nothing more to say
We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay here!
Liked: It was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s located right by a bus stop, so it was convenient to access. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and provided opportunities to meet other guests and enjoy their holiday stories. We thoroughly enjoyed this property!
Perfect - more than we were looking for!
Liked: Stuart is a fabulous host and we felt very welcome in his home. He is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The property is perfectly clean and decorated beautifully. The breakfast is excellent. We had 4 nights of great sleep and appreciated the little details - who doesn’t want a Tunnocks Tea Cake with their cup of tea after a long day?!
