Was told my booking was moved it was not
A delightful stay in a lovely hotel with a warm welcome and excellent amenities
Liked: I received a warm welcome and was able to get a parking space in the hotel car park. The attractive hotel was in a very nice location, a short walk from the Castle and the town centre. My bedroom and shower-room were lovely and very well appointed, with handsome vintage furniture. I had a comfortable chair with a pretty view to the front of the hotel onto the square with trees and grass. There were also some informative books of the area. Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: Worth mentioning, but not a complaint. The chef was ill, therefore dinner could not be provided in The Orangery which I was looking forward to. The hotel informed me of this a couple of days before, which was very thoughtful and helpful.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough
