    fab flat in fab location

Liked: Lovely hospitality with basic breakfast items awaiting guests, i.e. eggs, milk, jam, biscuits, etc. was a real plus. Apartment has a lovely ambience and furnishings and is a real home from home. Location is in the old town and ideal for visitors wanting to stay in the old part of Stirling near the castle.

Disliked: Spare keys in the property although having 2 keys, i.e. for the external door at street level and for the apartment, the key for the external door did not fit and needs to be replaced with a new key. Although the apartment itself is beautifully dressed, the first impression of the property may be off putting to some as dirty stone stairwell with rubbish at the bottom of the stairwell, dirty old filthy chairs.

A comfortable home base for exploring Stirling and surrounding areas

Liked: Great location for the major sights of Stirling, and a comfortable home base for day trips to Edinburgh. Daniel was very responsive, helping us in our confusion about the entrance and taking care of the wasps that had infiltrated the apartment swiftly.

Disliked: The stairs! I hadn’t realized that it was up two floors from the ground level, so it was a bit of a challenge to haul our bags up, and my bad knees were complaining. It would have been easier to manage the second flight if there were a handrail to steady my steps.

A beautifully appointed apartment in the middle of historic Stirling with stunning views

Liked: The location was stunning. A highlight of our Scotland trip. Stirling is so incredible and this apartment is perfectly located. The kitchen was super cute, and the host included milk and eggs. The apartment is well decorated and well appointed. It has 3 bedrooms and a living room. It's in a very old building, but the apartment extremely functional and comfortable. And the views from the apartment are beautiful, both front and back.

Disliked: These are quibbles because we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and wished we could stay longer: at the lockbox on the sidewalk you collect 2 keys. The first gets you into the exterior door. You then go down a hallway to a second door and then you are in the shared backyard. Then you enter another door into an enclosed spiral staircase and climb two flights of fairly tight spiral stairs. Then you use the second key to enter the apartment. It's quite a bit to do with lots of luggage, but like I said, we would do it again. Also, the drain pipe on the exterior was leaking and needs attention.
