Good, clean accomodation close to all amenities

Liked: Clean rooms, close to all amenities

Disliked: The hotel is near to rail tracks so you get the odd occasional noise from the trains.

Liked: Exceptionally good location, close to the train station and the main points of interest in a short, very enjoyable walking distance. The patio and the guest lounge are very comfortable, great to sit, chill and watch the River Ouse. The host is very nice and friendly. Excellent value for money.

Liked: Room was clean and tidy. Room had a view of the river. Owner is extremely friendly and helpful - provided information on local cafes/restaurants, as well as attractions. Location is a few minutes + scenic walk to the main part of the city, and a couple minutes walk on the bridge to the train station (could see the trains arriving / leaving from my room window). Range of options for tea, coffee and hot chocolate, as well as oat milk! The area isn't busy and there wasn't a lot of street noise coming in.
