I visit York every year was good stay again

Burton Stone was fine for a couple of nights in York, but would benefit from further modernising
Liked: The room had a double bed and two single beds, which was perfect for a family of four. The bathroom was newly renovated and clean. The location is just a 10 minute walk to the city wall/inner city.
Disliked: The hotel is quite old, and some parts could do with further refurbishment. The carpet in our room was old and had accumulated wear and was quite dirty. We heard voices/noises from nearby rooms, and there was a large generator of some kind that turned on in the morning and made a loud humming noise.
