Exceptional
Attentive host with cosy clean space
Liked: Colette is an amazing attentive and enthusiastic host. She explained the facilities will and was always on the other end of the phone if we needed anything. She even offered and gave us a lift into York to show us the best route in and out of the City. The property was spotless and provided us the little retreat for our girls weekend.
Fantastic break, where we could relax
Liked: Every little detail was thought of like hot drinks and snacks. Collette was a great host and happy to help with anything we needed.
Disliked: Great facilities, very clean, location was good and excellent host.
Liked: This accommodation was just lovely, perfectly clean, great facilities, small little touches like coffee, milk, etc left for us, the hot tub and garden was beautiful, Collette was just great, kept in touch and updated about everything, would definitely recommend a stay here, 😋 x
Disliked: Nothing to not like about here

Liked: Hot Tub outdoor
Disliked: Nothing at all
Amazing stay, looking forward to our next visit
Liked: Collette was an amazing host and really made our stay relaxed. It is a quiet and cosy place with more than everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub is a lovely addition and really easy to use. Would 100% recommend as a place to stay.
Disliked: Nothing
Sad but true
Liked: It had potential but it is the main floor of someone's house so there was a room divider to separate the living space. The furnishings were nice but a little to nice for a quick stay. Glass table, white rugs white couch
Disliked: Was told 2 x about a cleaning fee if we didn't put things back and didn't throw out our "rubbish". Felt threatening. Host was aggressive about us announcing our check in. Asked several times to call "5 min " before our arrival. The room set up to the rest of the hosts house was not clearing identified. Listed for a washing machine which is why we came and it wasn't working. The linens both bed and towels smelt like sour. Didn't even want to shower due to the smell of the linens. We had to wash our own cutlery as the cutlery drawer was dirty. All of the glass coaster were dirty in the living room had to wash before use. Then due to the set up the bedroom had to be locked when sleeping. Overall not a comfortable stay.I think this host should re think being a host.
